Madison Marcus and Macquarie Bank host Planning Law Round Table Luncheon

On Wednesday 26 October 2016, Madison Marcus and business partner Macquarie Bank hosted a round table Luncheon for a selected group of guests at Macquarie Banks Shelley Street office.

The luncheon was held  for the purpose of providing an update to our clients on the NSW council amalgamations as well as to review the recent changes the NSW Government has made to the planning rezoning process.

John Elvy, chairman of Madison Marcus and advisor to Parramatta and Penrith City Councils chaired the discussion. Paul Jayne, Partner for Planning, Environment and Government at Madison Marcus presented on the topic.

Sandra Peachey, a property valuer at Savills Australia was also present at the luncheon. Sandra together with Paul Jayne and John Elvy, provided analysis and insights on the changes to the rezoning and approval process from a planning law, property valuation and local government perspective, providing guests with practical information that will be useful when considering future property developments.

Madison Marcus and Macquarie Bank look forward to hosting more seminars like this in the future.
