Madison Marcus take part in the Marine 17 Conference


On the 1st of August Madison Marcus presented at the Marine 17 Conference held at Sydney’s International Convention Centre ICC.


Over 3 days from Monday 30 July to Tuesday 1 August, Marine 17 attracted over 500 attendees and more than 70 exhibitors from across the Asia Pacifice region. This unique 3 day event brings together the marine sector leaders from state and federal governments and industry to discuss the key sectoral issues across the themes of boating business, marinas, boating safety and light commercial marine.

Mark  Yum, Partner at Madison Marcus made a presentation to attendees who represented various businesses within the marine industry.

Mark delivered a masterclass on the 5 legal requirements of marine businesses – contracts, structures, work health and safety, Australian consumer law and utilising PPSR.

Mark has specialty knowledge in the marine and motor trade industries in Australia and acts for several of the peak bodies in these industries.
